Using Professional Photo Books - July 16, 2008

When it comes to marketing your photography business or to providing an extra service to your clientele, it's a good idea to be aware of the options that are available to you. What you are likely to find is that, by using professional photo books, you will be in a position to reach a number of goals.

Using professional photo books allows you to:

  • Crop photos and still include them in a book
  • Know that the colors that you're using will be true and will not fade out over time
  • Focus on telling a story with the images that you're using
  • Lay out the pages of your photo book with a sense of margins and bleeds and a guide that lets you account for them
  • Feel confident that the binding won't “give” over time

With professional photo books rather than just using those books that are widely available, professional photographers will find that they are able to do more to market their businesses and to impress those who see the work that you've done.

What Do People Say

Laura, from Underwood, WA
"I just loved my photobook. The color of the photos is just great! I started my photobook last Saturday afternoon and put over eighty photos in the book, finished, proofed and placed the order Sunday afternoon. Now I have the book, this is unbelievable! My husband could not believe I made such a professional book myself! I will definitely make another one for my mom soon. Thank you! "
