Family Memories is not a photo editing software, but a book design software; however, Family Memories does provide you many photo editing features, such as cropping, flipping, adjusting brightness, contrast or saturation, etc.

We recommend you use photo/image editing software to correct your photos and save as jpg files before importing into Family Memories.

Adobe family software is always what we want to recommend. With the help of Photoshop, Fireworks or Photo Elements, you should be be able to make professional-looking photos in your photo book.
